The impact of War Trauma on the affective Relationship
- 2017.

We study the impact of war trauma on the affective relationships of two soldiers, each of whom has a partner, and who are experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from a mission abroad. After presenting the psychoanalytic concepts of war neuroses and the recent scientific literature on war trauma, we try to understand the changes of representations to the love object. The clinical and projective study of two soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder brings out, by way of the trauma, the reactivation of infantile repressed conflicts. We propose therapeutic support that focuses not only on recent traumatic events but that supports the mental processing of a male suffering from childhood and its deadlocks.
