Students’ Perspectives on the Problem: Its Indicators and Effects - 2006.

The boredom appears more and more in the school, but the school is only the occasion of the manifestation, not a cause (reason). What do scholars themselves think? We collected the opinions of students on this phenomenon by gathering their written experiences about boredom. Analysis of the contents of 338 texts according to academic level and sex permitted us to distinguish between the indicators and effects (or reactions) of the boredom. Beyond the variables, we equally gathered relevant information on the process and the structure of boredom.
