<br/><br/> This article presents the characteristics of new management and its transposition from the world of business to territorial agglomerations. It seeks to show that far from achieving the supposed corporate efficiency, management proceeds from a logic of control of means and conduct that ends up reducing the potential for innovation and change. Its introduction in territorial agglomerations does not create the expected change because it does not take sufficient account of organization structures, professional cultures and identities.
