The hammock: A reconciliation with the phoric function in a therapeutic group of children - 2022.

42

Based on several clinical sequences, we will discuss how the hammock has come to assert itself as a point of attraction for the therapeutic issues of a children’s group in a pediatric medical and psychological center.Engaging in symbolic and sensorimotor processes, the games developed from the hammock allowed the children in this group to revisit more archaic stages of development on which the mythopoeitic function may have registered. In this way, we will question the relationships maintained by the phoric and metaphorical functions in this group.
