This essay focuses on the process of reconstructing corporo-psychic envelopes in a three-year-old autistic child who is then treated with psychotherapy. Following a period of mother-child reception based on the principle of narrative co-construction, individual therapy was oriented toward very early experiences of seeking a first containment, opening the way to a greater access to language and intersubjectivity
