From Morals to Ethics: the New Horizon of Relationships between Generations
- 2006.

In modern society, ethical matters tend to be divorced from moral principles. Yet the relationships between generations, usually immersed in a moral universe, hardly acknowledge that ethical issues are part of adults and children’s everyday lives. This paper analyzes such a situation and suggests an ethical revival based on four sets of issues: the end of consensual education models; the relationship to the others; the relationship to society; and a new conflict regarding civility.
