Fundamental Adoption - 2004.

If we follow the “Freudian Neurotic Family Romance” from a fantasmatic point of view, we are all of us adoptive children. This element which is a basic necessity for our psyche is confirmed by oral productions of humanity, myths and folktales. And in our social world, whether or not we are adoptive parents, whether or not we are adoptive children, we have to take a position in relation to the adoption or the refusal of adoption of children around us. In all these cases, our infantile family romance really remains our unconscious driving force. Adoption, in the depths of the child world, invites us to consider it at the scale of the succession of the generations. It has to do with the transmission of birth and adoption stories and above all with the unconscious transmission of family romances from generation to generation.
