N2  - Fortement enraciné et unanimement professé, le credo proudhonien des sections françaises de l’Internationale à ses débuts s’accompagne, au cours de l’intervalle des années 1867-1869, d’une pratique qui en contredit cependant fondamentalement le paradigme : la grève ! Cette contradiction, que le seul prisme idéologique de l’historiographie consacrée laissa longtemps impensée, se révèle notamment à l’occasion de la grande grève des ouvriers bronziers de mars-avril 1867 à Paris. Une grève dont la démonstration de force de l’AIT (Association interna- tionale des travailleurs) et les décantations politique qu’elle occasionne sur le long terme, offrent matière à l’analyse d’une étiologie sociale de la mutation du petit cercle d’étude proudhonien en un véritable outil de résistance ouvrière; Firmly rooted and unanimously professed, the proudhonian credo of the International’s French sections at its beginnings was accompanied, during the interval of the years 1867-1869, by a practice that nevertheless fundamentally contradicted the paradigm: the strike! This contradiction, which the sole ideological prism of consecrated historiography left unthought for a long time, was most notably revealed with the bronze workers’ strike in Paris in March and April 1867. A strike whose show of strength by the IWA [AIT] and the political decantations it brought about on the long term, provide material for the analysis of a social etiology of the transformation of the small Proudhonian study circle into a real too for worker’s resistance
