<br/><br/> Bien qu’elle ait été confrontée à des violences mille fois plus destructrices, la conscience collective a ressenti l’attentat du 11 Septembre 2001 comme un choc profond. L’emploi de l’image comme arme a été perçu comme l’émergence d’une nouvelle forme de violence. Que nous dit cette violence ? Comment la relier à celle que nous rencontrons dans notre vie et notre pratique quotidiennes ? Quelles conclusions pouvons-nous en tirer pour notre travail clinique ?  Although it has experienced catastrophes far more destructive, the collective unconscious received the image of the destruction of the Twin Towers as a tremendous shock. Is the use of the image as weapon responsible for the feeling of that we were discovering a new form of violence ? What conclusions can we draw from the experience ? How can we relate it to the violence we experience in everyday life and work ? What conclusions can we draw from it to improve our clinical practice ?
