<br/><br/> RésuméDans la période actuelle de mise en question de l’actuel dispositif d’accueil psychiatrique en France, les auteurs proposent un tour d’horizon des principaux problèmes soulevés par cette situation (mésusage des psychotropes, formation insuffisante des praticiens, prises en charges éparpillées, etc.). Examinant l’offre de soin disponible, ils font appel, non seulement à des données épidémiologiques, mais également aux témoignages des acteurs en place. Paradoxalement, le bilan se révèle tout à la fois préoccupant et optimiste. En prise directe avec les réalités du terrain, ce long travail exploratoire apparaît moins comme un réquisitoire que comme une analyse approfondie, ouvrant un certain nombre de perspectives encourageantes  With psychiatric care in France being strongly questioned at the present time, the authors propose an overview of the main problems raised by the prevailing situation (misuse of psychotropic drugs, inadequate training of practicians, dispersion of forms of care, etc.). Examining what is on offer in terms of care, they call not just on epidemiological data but also accounts from the players involved. Paradoxically, the evaluation proves to be both of concern and optimistic. In direct contact with the realities out in the field, this long exploratory work appears less of an indictment than a profound analysis, opening a certain number of encouraging perspectives.
