<br/><br/> Travail effectué à domicile auprès d’une patiente en phase terminale, d’un cancer génital, dans une faillite grave du masochisme érogène. Il y a dans un premier temps une réintrication pulsionnelle libérant une relance de l’élan vital avec la réalisation d’un déménagement. Du fait de la pression désorganisante de la maladie, la haine et l’agressivité escamotées font un retour en force brutal et irréversible, faisant voler en éclat l’illusion fragile d’une union fusionnelle à l’occasion d’un incident.  Serious Illness in the Home Environment – a Private Form of Madness This article presents the case of a patient treated at home and suffering from terminal genital cancer, their erogenous masochism having become dangerously weakened. The first results obtained led to a reintrication of drives, breathing new energy into the patient and enabling them to move house. Yet the destructive and chaotic onslaught of the illness regenerated the previous hatred and aggressiveness with violent and irremediable brutality, shattering the fragile illusion of a fusional union of those drives on one particular occasion.
