The Topological Moment of French Phenomenology

<br/><br/> «  The topological moment » denotes the common reference to topology developed by numerous authors during the 1960’s (Merleau-Ponty, Lacan, Deleuze, Foucault, Derrida). In the phenomenological paradigm, it created two antonymous responses : on one side, Merleau-Ponty paved the way for a new reduction, on the other side, Derrida facilitated a break from the methodical framework of phenomenology. However, this article proposes to move beyond this opposition.
