N2  - Since the announcement in the mid-nineties by the Government of Benin of an airport construction projet, the rural peri-urban district of Glo-Djigbé has faced an unprecedented situation of land pressure on land due to land sales. This article aims to analyse, in a context of legal dualism combining customary norms and formal rules, the changes resulting from the agrarian market dynamics that led to a rush of neo-rural stakeholders (beneficiaries, foreign buyers...) and thereafter, a change in the modes of access to the land. In particular, it describes the participants in the transactions, the intermediaries, and the intra-lineage negotiations the transactions generate
