N2  - ‪The exhibition Sur la route des chefferies du Cameroun, du visible à l’invisible at Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, and the “Cameroon cultural season in Paris” were developed by various French institutions in collaboration with the Route des Chefferies association. In Cameroon and the Cameroonian diaspora in France, these events have generated a great deal of commentary from a wide range of actors (traditional authorities, civil society, the academic and art worlds, heritage specialists) in the media, on social networks, in scientific contributions and discussions. Criticism focused on the selection of works, the staging of royal power, the benefits to communities and the intentions of partners, but also on the current issues surrounding North-South partnerships around heritage and the things and objects of Cameroon at a time of restitution.‪
