<br/><br/> Between destructivity and conflict, the use of drive and excitement is an emergency mediation. However, for patients who are too conflicted between excitement and drive, psychodrama and its figurations give access to a conflicting transference. Directors, co-therapists, and patients benefit from the spontaneity of free association through acting and scansions, the group and the entity. Through transference, figurations then become representations.
