Mediation with Family Photos and Recognition of Family Links

<br/><br/> Based on a clinical case, this paper presents a new and original mediation: “family photo mediation.” It is studied in the framework of treating parents who are addicted to drugs and whose child has been taken into custody by child protective services. “Family photo mediation” is designed to strength the parent-child bond. It helps to weave the first bonds and enables drug-addicted subjects to feel recognized as parents.
