While the terms “inclusive education” and “students with special educational needs” are increasingly present in the media, accompagnantes des élèves en situation de handicap (AESH) (support staff for children with disabilities) are rarely in the spotlight. As part of an ongoing research project, this article sets out to sketch the initial morphological contours of this professional group.
