Twins in Mother-Child Group Therapy - 2007.

67

The therapeutic evolution of twins in a group is generally similar to the evolution of singletons, but more complex. The complexity relates to the presence of the two twins together in the group, which strengthens their difficulties, makes them difficult to access, and keeps the other children of the group out. Little by little, thanks to the help of the therapist, the twins will become aware of their link and redefine their relationship in order to individualize and separate themselves from each other and from their mother.
