The choreography of early interactions – A permanent improvization - 2023.

62

After paying tribute to Daniel Stern, who died in 2012, and in particular to his concept of affective tuning, the author looks at the question of linking (to external and internal objects) in terms of intersubjectivity, polysensory synchronization and improvization. The question of music and rhythm is then considered within the system of the baby’s early interactions by evoking, in the prenatal register, S. Maiello’s prenatal sound object, which represents, as it were, the first emergence of a musical component during ontogenesis. In the end, the baby appears to be the mother’s orchestra conductor within a situation of asymmetrical mutuality.
