Between the desire to show a change of scenery and the demonstration of one’s image, these crafts express a foreign culture as much as a local one. Based in a strategy of economic survival and using obvious stereotypes immediately understood by tourists while patrimonializing skills, crafts reveal adhesion to a way of life during vacations
