<br/><br/> “The Wagtail of Low Street” is a curious title for a text published in a psychoanalytic review. It reflects what is most contingent and intimate, yet is directly moved by the forces of the unconscious. This paper attempts to demonstrate how the intervention of the signifier in the folds of perception gets to thwart phenomenology.
