N1 - 26 N2 - Among the Haitian hills, though rarely premeditated, two elements of an irregular and disruptive nature demonstrate certain acts of violence perpetrated mainly by children: their aggressive outbursts towards those individuals who are considered crazy, and towards herding dogs. In both cases the violent actions are accompanied by a collective exultation and competitive emulation, which shows the rather playful character of these intense childhood experiences.
