<br/><br/> The Freudian invention of the unconscious is “untimely” (Nietzsche’s term) because opposite to common sense. This Freudian heritage is taken up again by Lacan. His concepts of “ jouissance,” “ pas-tout,” and “ lalangue” allow the formulation of contemporaneous questions of the culture through psychoanalysis.
