<br/><br/> Through studying regional biodiversity policies in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, this article focuses on the effects of changes of government upon the content of public policies. It analyzes political and administrative processes which lead to deep change in the content of public policies linked to changes in government that took place in 2015. It reveals the role played by regional politicians in this change, one that is driven by their political engagement, the context of administrative fusions and the varying usage they make of policy instruments.
