Becoming a Gestalt-Therapist - 2014.

One trains a physicist, a carpenter, an airline pilot and a doctor differently, but the skills required for each activity are conceived in and by the practice of the art in ad hoc teaching situations. The specificity of the Gestalt-therapist requires training that puts the student at work in his or her very being and allows them to build an integrated system of professional knowledge, declarative, procedural and conditional, a mobilized system in the heat of the clinical encounter requiring the practitioner to act in face of urgency and to make decisions in situations of uncertainty.
