<br/><br/> Where terrorist organizations operated – Northern Ireland, Corsica, Basque Country – the aims of armed men (independence, reunification, rupture with trade system) were not met. But in those three regions of Europe, armed activities ceased and terrorist organizations were dissolved. The reasons are not a secret: fighters were tired, police operations were efficient, people’s support decreased. The former fighters have now to confront other urgent matters. How to transform a military defeat in a political victory? How to reintegrate the underground fighters and the prisoners in the new deal?
