<br/><br/> Standardization definitely plays a decisive role in the ongoing process of globalization. Setting up standards – e.g. access online to learning resources – requires knowledge coming from several disciplins, among them this French agregate called “sciences de l’information & de la communication”. It is argued that this set gathers many of the necessary entries to study this new mix of social relationships, information and telecommunications.
