This article explores some of the works of Edgar Morin that deal with the relationships between the feminine and masculine, between men and women, either from a transdisciplinary perspective—in terms of sociology or biology—or from the perspective of the theory of evolution and genetics. Epistemological innovation is invariably the cornerstone of Morin’s thinking, and in this case, the concepts of dialogic and the endless loop are the fundamental tools of Morin’s analysis of the masculine and feminine.
