<br/><br/> This article examines the evolution of media representation of Latin American migration to the United States. Historically, the media have often portrayed migrants as young men in search of opportunity, fueling discourses of threat. However, a shift towards more humanizing narratives, particularly of families and children, has emerged. These images have raised public awareness of humanitarian challenges, although their use raises ethical questions. The article highlights the importance of balanced media coverage in influencing perceptions and migration policies responsibly.
