<br/><br/> Only twenty years ago, military personnel lived in two different and mutually exclusive worlds—their workplace and their home. However, for the last few years, the family has taken a more and more important place, and, as a further social change, men are no longer alone when leaving on mission: their wives come too. This relatively unprecedented situation is forcing the couple to reconsider its project of life together in the light of the challenges of life on military operation. With the aid of various testimonies, we will explore the life of these couples—problems of distance, emotional life, the challenges of coming back home etc.
