<br/><br/> The pathophysiological pathways of the onset of schizophrenia remain unknown. Gut microbiota is increasingly considered as a symbiotic partner for the host’s brain development and functioning. The aim of this review was to synthesize recent data exploring the link between the dysbiosis of intestinal microbiota and the etiopathogenesis of schizophrenia.
