Young “in-patients.” New clinical profiles, new nosography: current child neuroses
- 2018.

Societal changes of hypermodernity have given rise to unprecedented psychopathological expressions in children and adolescents. The young consultant with limited experience of engaging in psychotherapy is an “in-patient” in a dynamic of release of tension/speech prevention, rather than a repression/resurfacing of the repressed dynamic. Child psychological disorders—excluding autism and psychosis—are linked to the Freudian concept of neurosis revisited today. Based on a corpus referred to in psychoanalysis, a phenomenological approach proposes a psychopathological classification based on an exploded/imploded bipolarity (hyperactivity/somatic complaints).
