<br/><br/> Times are changing, and this means that Catholics and the Church must face new responsibilities, to paraphrase Pope Francis. Over his eight years of papacy, he has demonstrated a determination to embark on a process of transformation. Frequently, his ideas are only partially taken on board, obscuring the underlying coherence of his approach. This article attempts, through an examination of his writings and discourses, to grasp Pope’s lines of thought in order to shed light on his views and perspectives.
