Michel Foucault speaks rarely about Judaïsm in a direct way, however he talks a lot about it through psychoanalysis, once have been recognized and gathered a number of annotations by which Foucault underlines what psychoanalysis owes to Jewish tradition. Two strategies emerge when history of emancipation is questioned: one, strictly Foucauldian consists, where systems of power that subject and subjectivize are constantly reordered, in finding new ways of escaping towards desubjectification; the other would be based on what we can call a subjugate Jewish knowledge, of which Foucault allows us to recognize coordinates, although, for his part, he does not make it a resource for the future.
