<br/><br/> The article seeks to show how the experience of accompanying people at the end of their lives (in the context of voluntary palliative care) can broaden the reading of Levinas, and renew the conception of the care relationship and of vulnerability. Vulnerability appears as the « common fund of humanity » that opens to solicitude.
