<br/><br/> The BDIC holds extensive archives of the LCR (Ligue Communiste révolutionnaire) which came into the institution by successive waves. The study of an isolated folder extracted from this collection makes it possible to get to the heart of two mobilizations in the late 70’s about Cologne proceedings and remembrance of the Nazi past still widely repressed in the Federal Republic of the time. On one side, the struggle of the Klarsfelds to bring Nazi criminals to justice and on the other, the « Bürgerinitiative » aimed at conserving traces of the Nazi past of the town by transforming former premises of the Gestapo of EL-DE-Haus into a commemorative site and a documentation center.
