This research analyzes M&A performance in terms of customer satisfaction. We find that customer satisfaction differs according to the type of M&A and the sectors in which the firms operate. Finally, we make recommendations for increased M&A success. This empirical study is based on 2,769 M&A operations carried out by 139 companies over the course of 21 years.
