It takes shape in a context of intensified exchanges of all sorts (local or cross-border) by being embedded in social, economic, and political relations, so that the quality of the relations depends on the sustainability of the local development. Therefore, in the context of the Tajik Pamirs, it is important to highlight the political strategies associated with the economic model of development and to reconstruct the power relations.
