<br/><br/> Processing big data challenges our collective intelligence. We need to invent an attention economy, redefine the notion of “relevance”, and devise a finer and broader conception of “meaning” and “sense”. This article suggests that the way literature “manages” polysemy could inspire us in facing such challenges.
