<br/><br/> Fifty-three years after the Motu proprio Apostolica sollicitudo of Paul vi, this article reflects on the ecclesiological consequences of the creation of the synod of bishops: sensus fidelium and pastoral coresponsability, a dynamic in three moments from the expression of the synod (communio fidelium, communio Ecclesiarum, communio episcoporum) and “affective” and even “effective collegiality”, to take up the words of Pope Francis.
