Management in the Age of Financial Capitalism: A Management Style with No Regard for the Subject?

Based on recent research in various types of companies, this paper highlights the links between, on the one hand, the general evolution of the economic context and the rise and triumph of financial capitalism and, on the other hand, the transformations of work that have occurred in companies, and lastly the different effects on individuals of the management style of which they are the subjects (or the objects?) in this new environment. In the context of the “chaotic” management that now exists, which is based on constant change and focused solely on short-term results, does a possibility for achievement, self-realization, or even consideration for the subject exist?
