<br/><br/> Combining subjective experience and clinical reflexivity, this article highlights the importance of clinical posture in welcoming and supporting subjects confronted with the loss of a child during pregnancy, a situation that society struggles to grasp. Professionals and relatives supporting bereaved parents need to question and revisit elements such as the invisibility of children born lifeless, the difficult consideration of perinatal grief, or the weight of social norms and representations. This article also shows how a particularly impactful biographical event can act as an essential point for realizing the necessity of a clinical approach, enabling one to elaborate from one’s own experience.
