N1 - 4 N2 - In his text L’ordre des sexes (1983), Eugène Enríquez explores the foundations of the primacy of male domination. The inferior and dominated status of women, a universal, transhistorical and transcultural observation, warrants an inquiry into the origin of this attribution. To this end, in this article we first look at the current incarnations of male domination based on violence against women’s bodies, and then, following in the footsteps of Eugéne Enríquez, we explore the theoretical resources (mainly psychoanalytical in nature) capable of shedding light on the foundations of this domination. Finally, based on an analysis of the sexual division of labor, both productive and reproductive, we will examine feminist ethics of care as a political power that transforms domination UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-nouvelle-revue-de-psychosociologie-2024-2-page-47?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
