<br/><br/> L’analyse de l’ancrage social du National Congress Party (NCP) dans les quartiers populaires du Grand Khartoum permet de saisir les registres d’affiliation partisane et les modes organisationnels pris par le mouvement islamiste au Soudan. J’explore les formes de présentation de soi induites par un engagement au NCP, ainsi que les logiques sociales qu’engendre la présence du parti à l’échelle du quartier. La promotion des militant·e·s par la valorisation de modèles d’accomplissement moral reste soumise à la discipline partisane et au « travail émotionnel » mis en œuvre au sein des structures locales du parti, qui façonnent autant qu’ils répriment les dispositions des individus.  Analysis of the social anchoring of the National Congress Party (NCP) in the working-class neighbourhoods of Greater Khartoum reveals the multiple registers of party affiliation and the organisational forms taken by the Islamic Movement in Sudan. I explore the forms of self-presentation shaped by affiliation to the NCP and the social rationales generated by the party’s work at the scale of the neighbourhood. The promotion of militants through ideals of morality is conditioned by party discipline and emotional labour within the local party structures, which both shape and repress individual dispositions.
