Digitization, an accelerator of possibilities in training and research: The case of the EREM Chair - 2022.

Digital innovation has had a lasting impact on the real estate sector since the beginning of the twenty-first century for all its stakeholders: professionals, institutions, students, teacher-researchers, etc. Based on this observation, this article aims to demonstrate how the EREM Chair (European Real Estate Management) of the Université de Lorraine, through its actors and productions, can actively support the so-called digitalization phenomenon. To do this, a doctoral thesis that is currently underway on these topics will serve as the backbone of the demonstration. Thus, the EREM Chair, as an extended academic enterprise, can be defined as a place of exchange at the center of the ecosystem of the research-intervention model considered: through its action and through its network, it promotes the link between academic logic (scientific production) and action logic (transfer and valorization). Digitalization is both an object and a vector of innovation. It is an accelerator of the dissemination of new and actionable skills by actors in the field.
