<br/><br/> The line manager, torn between the hierarchy and the employees, is a key player in our institutions. A true communication hub, the choice of methods of information distribution methods is essential in terms of the impact on the motivation and performance of the team. Within our hospitals, humor plays an important role as a defense mechanism but also in terms of exchanges between caregivers and the relationship between caregivers and patients, yet it is under-utilized on a daily basis by our line managers. Our research note will therefore lead us to answer this question: “To what extent can the line manager use humor as an action lever in our hospitals?”
