The gambling industry has borne the brunt of the Internet’s technological revolution. For fifteen years the Web has been blurring the boundaries of this sensitive domain of activity and, thanks to the lack of regulation, a large number of sites have sprouted up in “gambling paradises” with an excessive offer and very high (too high) returns for players. Unfortunately, civil society is often forced to pay the price for such evolution: money laundering, sports corruption and the risks of addiction have increased.
