In one way or another, the therapist is expected to take into account the body of the patient without entirely identifying with the patient’s personal experience. However, the patient wants the therapist to uncover elements unknown to him or her. However, in many cases, therapists do not sufficiently account for the inner feelings that the suffering of their patient may provoke in them.
