Approaches to Group Therapy for Psychotic and Autistic Children - 2011.

95

Based on a critical review of the main works pertaining to therapeutic groups for psychotic and autistic children, this paper identifies clinical aspects common to these works in order to propose a theory on this type of approach and to specify its epistemological grounds. It appears that free association reactualizes the hazards on which primary symbolization was constructed as it took place in the context of intersubjectivity. This approach is one that combines the interpersonal and the intrapsychic  in which the internal construction of the limit is based on intersubjective loops, which calls for a more nuanced view of the classical opposition between framework and process.
