Assessment of osteopathic treatments for pathologies due to toxicological withdrawal

<br/><br/> The Centre Médical Marmottan is a hospital that welcomes patients with addiction, eager to start a withdrawal or a medical treatment. Withdrawals entail lack of drugs, powerful treatments and may cause certain diseases. These diseases are, among others, constipation, pain in the legs or a feeling of heavy aching legs. We have practised osteopathy sessions on patients to evaluate the potential effectiveness of this treatment for different pathologies. Multiple statistical tests have shown that there is a reduction in pain in the lower extremities and increased stool frequency in two consultations. These tests have failed to demonstrate a reduction in the diameter of the sigmoid colon.
